IPUSA Ranked in the Top 10 in the 2024 U.S. Patent Quality Rankings for Art Units 1700 & 3600

In the “2023 U.S. Patent Quality Rankings” published last year by Patent Bots, a U.S. patent analytics company, our U.S. branch office, IPUSA PLLC, was ranked 10th out of the top 250 U.S. law firms in Art Unit 2800.
Art Unit 2800 includes: Semiconductors/Memory, Circuits/Measuring and Testing, Optics/Photocopying, Printing/Measuring and Testing

Following this achievement, in the recently released “2024 U.S. Patent Quality Rankings,” IPUSA has once again made the Top 10, this time in two additional art units: Art Units 1700 and 3600.

In Art Unit 1700: ranked 7th out of the top 153 U.S. firms, and in Art Unit 3600: ranked 9th out of the top 183 U.S. firms.

This ranking is based on patent data issued over the past year. Patent Bots downloads issued patents and uses an automated patent proofreading tool to count the number of errors per patent.
The quality score is calculated based on the following three types of errors:
• Numbering errors
• Antecedent basis errors
• Claim terms not clearly supported by the specification

Accordingly, we believe this serves as an indicator that our claims are robust and enforceable.
