
Nobuhiro TAKAHASHI
Patent Attorney/Deputy Vice President
- He received his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science in 1993. In the same year he entered the Japan Patent Office (JPO). He worked as an examiner and trial examiner, he has also served as a visiting scholar at the George Washington University, Counselor of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)PCT Office, was seconded to Suzuki Motor Corporation under Japan’s public-private personnel exchange program where he served as General Manager of Intellectual Property Department, and later served as Director of the IP Utilization Promotion Department and Director of the Human Resources Development and Utilization Department at the National Center for Industrial Property Information and Training (INPIT). After serving as Deputy Director-General of the Fourth Examination Department, he was appointed Director of the 30th Board of Trial and Appeal in 2023. He left the JPO in 2025. In the same year, he registered as a patent attorney. He joined our firm in October 2025. He specializes in electrical engineering, and information processing. He is a deputy vice president at our firm.
