- He graduated from the Department of Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Niigata University, and completed a master's degree at the Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. He joined the Japan Patent Office in 1992. Following assignments including secondment to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (currently the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), served as Chief Administrative Judge (Appeals Department No. 26, Electronic Commerce) in 2024. Former Judicial Research Official at the Intellectual Property High Court. He retired from the Japan Patent Office in January 2026. Registered as a Patent Attorney in February 2026. Joined our firm in March 2026. He specializes in Information Processing, Electronic Commerce Technology, Trial and Appeal Practice.
