Discussions to date at JPO<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>Regarding the &#8220;Protection of Designs in Virtual Spaces,&#8221; which has been under consideration at the JPO since late 2024, the original proposal\u2014which was predicated on statutory amendments\u2014was revised. A modified proposal addressing the issue within the framework of the current law was presented and received support from the participating committee members.<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>2. Main Opinions from Participating Committee Members<\/strong><\/span> <br \/>\r\n\u27a2 Committee members welcomed the proposal as a realistic approach that avoids statutory amendments.<br \/>\r\n\u27a2 They requested further concrete examples.<br \/>\r\n\u27a2 They requested clear distinction from non-protected subjects such as games and content images.<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>4.
